Conservative activist Charlie Kirk assassinated in cold blood during speaking event at Utah college
We've been on an escalator of violence in recent years but somehow this one feels different.
Charlie Kirk did not deserve this. Charlie Kirk was a family man, a husband with two young children who worked his tail off for what he believed in.
He was shot down by an assassin’s bullet just after 12 noon local time at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10. He was hit in the neck, likely by a high-powered rifle fired by a sniper, just as he was fielding a question from the audience. It was a devastating blow and anyone who saw the video knew that, barring an absolute miracle from God, nobody could survive such a hit.
I’ve seen some reports that Charlie’s wife and kids were there in the audience when he was murdered in cold blood. I hope that’s not a true report.
Make no mistake, this was the work of a professional hit man. Someone likely with a military background, or perhaps law enforcement, someone with professional training, not some weapons novice or random person who just didn’t like Charlie Kirk.
