Sadly and truthfully, it appears that the answer to your question is that there seems to be a plan.

Funny that Christians, Muslims, & Jews seem to be able to live along side each other in Iran without problems. In Gaza, Christians, Jews, & Muslims lived along side each other peacefully until the Zionists pushed their way in. In Armenia Christians are being genocided by Muslim extremists. Guess who is funding the Muslims & who is trying to help the Christians.

I understand that there are a number of Jews who oppose the Zionists too.

As a believer, I am heartbroken over all the hatred, the inhumanity, the heartless displacement and worse, murdering, of any human being, regardless of their beliefs. The poor people in that corner of the world are getting hit the hardest right now, but history reveals that any day now the Evil eye may redirect its attention and we will be on the receiving end. Imagine being one of millions bombed out of your home, lost in a lost world. All for the love of money and power. It will end at some point (I pray soon) and God will be faithful and just as he deals with our eternal souls.

Leo--I'm glad you have written about this issue. Most of the Christians of the Holy Land have been forcibly removed from there. There are now more Palestinian Christians living in Australia than in the Holy Land. I do NOT understand why western Christians have ignored this problem for so long.

A common occurrence in Jerusalem--Christian clergy gets spit on by Israeli settlers. My priest got spit on by them when he visited Jerusalem some years ago. Jews hate Christians more than muslims because their Talmud teaches that Jesus was a blasphemer and the son of a whore. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7uL555xWQeE

I know, it is so sad how brainwashed the church in the west is, but it is because of the zionist progaganda being pushed in many of the churches and "Christian" media outlets. Some of the comments on here already with just so few show the sad product of the brainwashing.

itsuwa's avatar

Most churches around the world have been brainwashed, and their Christians are controlled by evil pastors.

FYW & respectfully, the Taybeh tale is a lie that won't die--joos are not persecutin' Christians in the Middle East, not even in Israel...nor burnin' churches--by all means believe what'cha want (I know most will), say what'cha want too, if it advances yer cause; however the lie proven false was sadly not retracted by those that spread it 'round. Here's wha'happened:

https://x.com/israelpolice/status/1947390091099279539

Contrary to misleading reports, no damage was caused to the Church of Saint George in Taybeh. The fire was limited to an adjacent open area, not the holy site. Emergency services received reports from local residents, including both Israelis and one Palestinian caller. The District Commander has initiated a thorough investigation.

On my news page that is provided by my computer there was an article that jumped out at me. It said something about how they are closing the church in Jerusalem, the Holy Sepulchre, and that this was claimed to be more persecution by the church that was just ‘fake’. First of all, Christians have been persecuted since the church existed, and that was the realest persecution there is, there is nothing ‘fake’ about it. Second, whether or not this is, is a separate matter, but I am willing to bet that it is. I recall seeing a video about this on YT and the Eastern Orthodox were complaining that the gov. had just closed this church during Lent and also before Holy Week and it was a big blow to them and interferes with several traditions. They also said that the reason given had something to do with ‘the war’ and bombs, yet other places were not closed. Also, there are videos of persecution against Christians visiting the area by the inhabitants so it is nothing new. Third, it just hit me like a lightning bolt that in January of this year, the leader of that church had made a statement that was pretty profound and the leaders of the other local churches of that denom. were in agreement with him. He had made the statement that Christian Zionism is not only heretical, but dangerous as well. Then I saw it, that is why they closed their church! Of course they will not call it persecution but obviously that is exactly what it is. The walls are closing in on freedom of speech and if you say certain things now, you know; certain things… then penalties follow. Another thing is that there is also the possibility that the Hegelian Dialectic plays a role here as well. For instance, often times globalists are shaking hands behind closed doors, but appearing to be arch enemies in public just to play a role for a certain agenda in politics. That could be the case here. It will thus appear to be strife for a while, just to create tension between different groups. Then, a certain hero swoops in and saves the day with some sort of solution involving unity and peace and everyone gets on board and gets their edifice on the Temple Mount and it’s instant celebration. That fits right into the end times script.

Now is a good time to be connecting the dots! Be blessed!

Happy Palm Sunday!

Leo, Here is another POV - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTtRcWVcJw4 with The Israel Guys: boots on the ground.

Leo Hohmann's avatar

The fact that Israel had to get "The Israel Guys" to put out a piece like this only serves to confirm that EWTN's report is likely the more accurate portrayal of what's happening on the ground. Consider the source. "The Israel Guys," with their Western (sounds American actually) accents, have a vested interest in putting out the Israeli perspective. EWTN represents the Christian communities and spoke with the church leaders. Which do you think is more in tune with the Christians in that area of the world?

Gary W. Ritter's avatar

They are Americans. You would do well to listen to them to gain a deeper perspective of Israel from people who actually live and work in Judea-Samaria close to the Muslim communities. The "Christians" in Taibai wouldn't even speak with The Israel Guys for fear of their Muslim neighbors. Who is responsible for the erosion of Christians in the so-called West Bank and Gaza? It's not Israel. And yes, I quote "Christians" because they obviously don't have a Biblical worldview of Israel, God's treasured possession - the apple of His eye.

Leo Hohmann's avatar

You are hopelessly brainwashed. The boots on the ground are the Christians who live there. They are not supported by either of the two tribal combatants who are at each other’s throats. If you don’t like my articles then move on, as there are countless outlets putting out your perspective, but don’t come on here and put opposing propaganda — that’s called a troll.

Gary W. Ritter's avatar

No, it's called having a Biblical and prophetic worldview.

LillyLovesJesus's avatar

That's what Leo has, not what you have. You have been hopelessly brainwashed by the poisoned propaganda. You forsake the Christians for the unbelievers, and you betray the church into the hands of their persecutors. And to top it off, you think this is what God supports. What heresy!

Lorraine Thomas's avatar

Thank you….Gary! I love….”The Israel Guys”….they speak truth! Leo can’t handle the truth…. so he has to label you as trolls! By the way the RCC is not Christian…it’s a cult…it’s opposed to the biblical gospel!

LillyLovesJesus's avatar

Oh, so now people are not Christians if they do not bow down to Israel? Actually those Christians that you put in quotes do have the Biblical worldview of Israel. The one that states that the church is the "Israel of God," and no one else. But I would say "Jews" are not Jews because they obviously don't have a Biblical worldview of the church, GOD'S TREASURED POSSESSION - THE APPLE OF HIS EYE!!!!

THAT is what the true Biblical perspective is!

You have obviously forsaken the Christian brethren for those who persecute them, and who reject the Messiah Jesus as well, your idol "Israel". The true Jews are those who are Jews inwardly; the CHRISTIANS, according to the Word of God, which you obviously know nothing about.... because you are too busy getting brainwashed by folks spewing propaganda like... the "Israel" guys. The "God's Chosen People" are none other than the church and no one else!

KatherineEH🌹's avatar

I dont think that the " Christians" fear(ed) the muslims. I think you're guessing, and guessing wrong.

KatherineEH🌹's avatar

I watched the video you linked. What I got out of it seems to be the exact opposite of what you got!

Israel shouldn’t tolerate any group that supports the moslems over the Hebrews.

The land, as tiny and resource sparse as it is still does belong to the descendants of Israel (Jacob). There are nearly unlimited places to live besides that tiny country.

Pointing the finger at Hebrew persecution of Christians is despicable. The world has truly enormous Christian persecution from many groups such as communists and Hindus etc but the indisputable worst persecutors of Christians are the moslems.

I’ve had enough of this “journalism”.

Count me out.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: -Psalms 146:5

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. -Psalms 129:5

For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. -Psalms 132:13,14

God has not cast away his people which he foreknew. Don’t you know what the scripture says …. -Romans 11:2

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. -Zechariah 12:3

Are western Christians silent about this or unaware? The few who raise the issue are attacked or, predictably, accused of antisemitism. One podcaster, in particular, has seen this up close. And right on cue, one of the commenters here is attacking this story.

Religions serve to divide people and create hate ? Sad.

"Every country where the U.S. has been involved in a war or revolution, it’s the Christians who suffer the most," including in Europe since WWII, and now in America too, ever since the government has been openly at war with the citizens.

This is a terrible tragedy that has been going on at a fever pitch since the 1967 was when

the Israeli Gov. decided to give so called Palestinian Arabs East Jerusalem and the "west

bank" in portions of Samaria and Judea. The local Christians who have every right to be

there in the Body of Christ, the church, have been caught in the middle between land grabbing

Jews and Muslim Arabs.

And yes it is disheartening that messionic Jews who live in Israel are afraid to help.

will be held accountable as will all of us who look the other way. Prayer is a powerful

tool, and is definitely needed Now.

Thanks for reminding me of this Leo!

Also, just as a news source on substack are Steven and Jana Benun who put out news like this too. I don't agree with all the interpretations of prophecy and stuff but the news is really cutting edge about what is going on with these things.
