Immigrant males 18-26 are not exempt now, based on SSS.gov. Enlistment rates are down as are birth rates, so it seems bribing all those young men to the States was a perfect plan.
Perhaps the immigrants would be wise to leave, before they end up in boots on the ground elsewhere. The involuntary automatic registration process will scoop them up too. Maybe that explains the hype bringing them here over the past decade and the slow roll moving them out.

They are using technology to register the boys automatically, which telegraphs their intention at some point to actually restart the draft. Otherwise, why would they be so concerned that some boys might skirt the law and not register of their own volition? If nothing else, it foreshadows a time of increased warfare in which they know more and more teenagers would choose not to register for the war machine. It’s easy to comply with this stupid law in times of peace or continued low-level warfare, under which conditions it’s nothing but a minor nuisance.
